Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah confirmed that his party will work to bring down the dividing “yellow line” that Israel announced in southern Lebanon, stressing that no one will be able to disarm the party. In an interview with Agence France-Presse, Fadlallah said: “We will overthrow this yellow line with resistance, by insisting on our right to legitimate defense of ourselves and our country,” explaining that “the attempt made by the Israeli army to establish a buffer zone, under the title of a front line, a yellow line, and a green line... will break all of these lines and we will not accept any of them. We will reach our villages on the recognized international borders, no matter the sacrifices, no matter the costs.” Fadlallah stressed that "there will be no disarmament of the resistance, and no one in Lebanon or abroad will be able to disarm the resistance."
